Lady Gaga is as well known for her crazy fashion antics as she is for her music and music channel VH1 have just showcased their latest ‘The Short List’ program which featured on the outrageous star’s most crazy outfits.
According to Barneys creative director Simon Doonan “That girl is on fashion crack,” and we couldn’t agree more, there certainly have been some overwhelmingly bizarre outfits.
The VH1 list counted down her top ten in order of outrageousness, as below. Do you think that VH1 have got it right or are there some spectacular outfits missing from the list?
10. The Lobster Hat
The flamboyant star was spotted wearing a silver diamante lobster headpiece when she arrived at Mr Chow restaurant in London. She teamed the bizarre headwear with a see through plastic dress!
9. Pearl Face
In February this year the Poker Face singer glued pearls to her face as she attended the opening of New York Fashion Week.
8. The Bubble Dress
A firm favorite amongst Gaga fans, the bubble dress featured different sized clear bubbles which adorned a flesh coloured leotard, leaving very little to the imagination!
7. Bat Costume
Dracula would be proud. Yes, Lady Gaga sported a bat costume when she appeared on the last series of the X Factor, complete with bat wings and bat ears!
6. Queen of Hearts Dress
If you thought that Lady Gaga would dress a little more conservatively when she met our fair Queen, then you’d be very, very wrong! Instead the Popstar donned a red latex dress with an Elizabethan style ruffle, nicknamed the ‘Queen of Hearts’ dress, complete with red sparkly eye makeup.
5. The Living Dress
Looking much like a huge Christmas decoration, Ms. Gaga donned the living dress which featured moving wings and a headpiece, with loads of white layers. The dress performed of its own accord and wowed the crowds at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.
4. Tiered Dress and Lace Headpiece
The pop princess looked much like a layered cake at the 2010 Brit Awards when she debuted a three tiered layered dress, complete with a huge hairpiece and a lace mask.
3. Kermit the Frog Jacket
Lady Gaga showed a love for the muppets we’ve never seen before when she stepped out in a coat made entirely from Kermit the frog toys when she went for an interview on a German TV show. She topped off her outfit with none other than a Kermit the frog bow in her hair.
2. Red Lace Dress
Well, we presume that it was Lady Gaga seeing as we couldn’t really see her face. Yes, the Bad Romance singer stepped out in a sheer red lace dress, complete with red lace gloves, red lace mask which covered her whole face and topped of the whole creation with a red organza crown!
1. Sparky Bra
The pop diva channelled the Queen of Pop, Madonna, when she stepped out in a studded leather leotard complete with conical bra, which actually sent sparks out the end of it! Now that’s what we call a fiery performance…
